Warm winter bedding

Winter bedding retains body heat in bed instead of letting it escape through the cover. Which quality is right for you depends primarily on whether you want cotton and whether you tend to feel cold or sweat at night.

Which winter bedding is right for you?

Quality Material Feel Care
Flannel / Fine Flannel 100% cotton, crinkled warm, textured, absorbs moisture up to 60°C
Melange Flannel usually 100% cotton, crinkled, mottled almost as warm as Flannel, finer and softer up to 60°C
Premium Flannel 100% cotton, crinkled slightly lighter, more affordable entry-level up to 60°C
Fleece 100% polyester instantly warm, featherlight, absorbs hardly any moisture 40°C, quick-drying
Nicki 100% polyester velvety, instantly warm 40°C

If you sweat at night, cotton is the better choice because it absorbs moisture. If you want to feel warmth immediately when getting into bed, choose fleece or Nicki. An overview of all flannel qualities can be found under Flannel Bedding, and the comparison in the guide Biber Flannel or Flannel – Which Is Warmer?.

Features & Care

The OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification and certificate number are listed for each item. The cotton qualities are washable at 60°C, while fleece and Nicki are washable at 40°C. Available in many sizes and colors, directly from the manufacturer.
