biberna tec.tex is the technical textiles division of H. & W. Schmänk GmbH & Co. KG. We manufacture and finish home textiles for industrial and private customers.

•      Cutting and sewing home textiles such as bedding, cushions, blankets, curtains and drapes.

•      Professionally processing hems, flat-felled seams, piping, as well as gathers and eyelets.

•      Setting up and operating industrial sewing machines (lockstitch, overlock, blind stitch).

•      Continuously checking sewing results for dimensional accuracy, seam quality, and fabric handling.

•      Accurately implementing cutting templates and pattern specifications.

•      Performing minor maintenance on the sewing machine itself, e.g., changing needles, adjusting thread tension.

•      Experience in industrial sewing, ideally in home textile production.

•      Advantageous: Experience in sewing curtains and drapes, e.g., with hems, gathers.

•      Sewing pleats or bias tapes.

•      Confident handling of industrial sewing machines.

•      Careful, precise working style and a good eye for detail.

•      Teamwork and reliability.

•      Permanent full-time position.

•      Thorough training on the sewing machine and in the production processes.

•      Solid team in the sewing room.
